Too much focus on someone elses butt-dyno and other peoples misplaced sense of righteousness... over someone elses ENJOYMENT of THEIR car. Sigh...

I don't frequent the mustang boards but I do know of some V6ers getting almost 13 flat with gears and a tune...and that might includer DRs. Its only a matter of time before one hits 12s without forced induction is my guess....but it would be rare.

I think that is "fast".

A grand national with a turbo isn't considered "bolt on"...its FI.

Absolutely nothing.

At any rate, there's more that differentiates an RS from SS than pure hp alone.

Meanwhile, the 2012 Toyota Camry cuts a very similar 1/4 mile time - 14.2 ticks.

In the current 5th Gen, RS doesn't mean V6... The RS package is available on both the V6 and the SS...

Yes, all are welcome. You just have to slap a bowtie on it somewhere.

Apologies. I don't mean to sound terribly arrogant... but the level of bull-headedness is staggering... cheers.

I haven't put the "LLT" badges on Gretchen, yet. Maybe you can borrow them. Who knows, if we park them side by side overnight you may get Quad Turbo Fordolet to go with the Mini.

well, if you were only doing 11's in one of those, then you were doing something wrong. most people i knew with them were in the mid 10's.

technically speaking, a blower is a bolt on these days. that said,

i consider ALL of these to be fast. i honestly don't know what the 6 banger camaros run bone stock. i've seen reports of the 6 banger mustang coupes going 13.9's, so the camaro has to be right in that ballpark.

if you really look at it, either one of these cars equipped with a 6 banger will totally, completely, and thoroughly embarrass the hot rods of the 60's.

I never ran my 10 Camaro V6, but I did run my 11 Stang V6 (auto/2.73's).

(100% bone stock, right down to the OEM air filter and Michelin Energy Saver 215/65 17" tires)
