That is funny!

Just tell your wife that you were just following the earthquake guidelines below:

http://www.ready.gov/earthquakes

When I had my first home I had a roommate. When the Landers quake hit back in 91 we both got in a doorways. After the shaking stopped we moved our cars away from the house in case there were aftershocks and something happened to the property. We figured that if anything happened we could at least get in our cars and travel somewhere. A lot of the neighbors did the same thing.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the advice folks! We had another one monday night. It wasnt near as bad as the one Saturday night. The house shook for 5 or 6 seconds. She got up, took my car keys off the counter and tossed em in my lap and said "guess you got something to do". I laughed my ass off, then she did too. So I guess I am off the hook. Shes awesome..........then I backed my car out of the garage.
