Holy S__t! A turbo and supercharged Hellcat! Can this be done on a ZL1?

Hennessy has a upgrade for the Hellcat that combines turbo and supercharging. I didn't know this could be done? But they downgraded their warranty to 1yr/12,000miles.

Hennessey is a piece of shit company. Baffles me how they're not out of business. And not sure why almost everyone on this forum sucks them up so hard. They do horrible work, have incredibly inflated dyno numbers, and charge ridiculous amounts of money for their "builds".

+1

And compound boosting generally is not considered to be very efficient....

I was going to say, 1,000 brake hp is not impressive for a car that's already making 700 rwhp stock. A local dyno shop had a dyno day and put a bone stock hellcat on their dyno. When they shut it down about 6k rpm's it was already over 690 rwhp.

That's one happy dyno.
The Hellcats don't make 700 rwhp stock, they make 700 crank hp stock.

The guys running the dyno said they were surprised too. They had no idea that the thing would make what it made. I tired to find their dyno sheet, but they recently cleaned up their old pictures.

It's been documented that the 707 RWHP rating is quite underrated. Speculation has these cars putting out 725-730 at the crank on average.

Why? Just why?

We have guys on this board with 1100-1200 rwhp with just turbos, without the sc.

Why add all the extra heat of FI going into FI. Doubt we will see one of these live past 10k miles.

Besides... If you have to add turbos to your sc, something isn't sized right
