I know where you guys are at. We lived at Bear Run when we first moved to Pittsburgh (we're in Seven Fields now). While Sir Pizza in Cranberry is great, the Sir Pizza is the best.

I'm certainly a "car" guy. I like anything that anyone takes pride in. I'm partial to GM, though. This is why I'll be attending Carlisle and not MD as I like to see a bunch of nice cars -- but I'm obviously preferential to the Camaros.

I'm guessing the 5th gen "only" folks you refer to are like the GTO people I was a part of. Honestly, that was what I disliked most about owning my GTO is that most of the owners were so haughty towards anything else. It wasn't fun to hang out with them (this was when we lived in DC, so Pittsburgh may be different).

I can't answer that because the only thing we parked in the garage was my wifes G6 coupe. We were able to store a lot of stuff in there with the car, though. Unfortunately, the 5th gen is a *bit* bigger than my wife's G6, so I'm not sure how much room you'll have.

I think what bothered me most (this is referring to the GTO club) was how everyone would talk, but no one would ever put their money where their mouth was (granted, there were some who would get a bit more "spirited"). If you say your car with 5897349587345hp is faster that whatever, how about you prove it?

I don't know how much "racing" is allowed to be discussed here, but 79 sure has some nice straight parts... (ear muffs, Chris)

edit: this was the early 2000's, so keep that in mind. This was long before 500+hp was the norm. But people who can't drive their 500+hp cars still suck
