Just picked my L99 up last night... burning smell

I haven't purchased a new car before (other than a Outlander off the lot for the wife that had some miles on it already). I drove it 30 some miles home last night, and when I got out of the car, it had an odd burnt smell. I couldn't find where it was at, and it was pouring rain so I ran inside.

Just curious if I should be concerned? Normal? What should I look for? The car came with 2 miles on it when I got it.

I only really got on the throttle twice, not WOT... but enough to see the responsiveness. Zoom Zoom.

If you're smelling what I think you're smelling its normal. The new exhaust system will smell as it burns off oils, etc.

Very normal stuff for a new car. Just shut the windows and take in the toxic smell of new car interior instead!!

I guess the smell that you are smelling may depend on what you ate earlier. But if it sint that then it is definitely the oils from your exhaust. No worries M8 :-). Its all normal.

New exhaust and new car break-in smell is the best

just because some of yall dont have a L99 that performs that doesnt mean someone else doesnt After the miles take over the L99 will be the car to have performance and everything else.

Sit still hold the brake a little mash the peddle and release the brake if your car doesnt burn then you need to make sure you paid for the V6 and not a V8. im sure even the V6 will burn the tires.

After a tune mine has NO PROBLEMS BURNING THE TIRES. actually before the tune it had no problems it just does it very easily now lol
