Life Span of P-Zeros

Hey Everyone,

Im sure this has been asked before but Im going to resurrect the topic. How long have you gone (miles) before replacing those Pirellis??

Im up to 25k on my 2013 2LT/RS and I noticed them getting a little bald so I was just curious how much longer I can run them since I know they are expensive to replace.

If they are getting bald already you should be replacing them now... Anything under 2/32nds you should be making an appointment to getting some new shoes.

I had just over 23000 in mine and I replaced them General G-Max AS-03. I wanted an all season tire and I found a good one with these.

Thanks for the replies guys, I logged into Tire Rack and found some good alternatives to Pirelli since I drive my car year round (NY), Im considering either General GMax (thank you SSJ455) or the Goodyear Eagle Sport, both of which are All-Season Tires.

I had just over 25,000 miles on mine before the tread on the rear tires got down close to the wear bars. Replaced them with Continental ExtremeContact DWS for all-season driving. I have only had them for a month, but I really like the ride and traction so far and gained more than 1 mpg with average daily driving.

It seems to vary by large amount based on driver. Most get 20k-30k which isn't bad for a Max performance summer tire (soft, sticky rubber).

My car has 27,000 miles now and the P-Zeros have 3,000 miles MAX left on them. I've been considering those General tires too.

14k miles, and my rears still have 8/32. Obviously I don't do burnouts.
