What you or rationalize what the price should be doesn’t matter. GM has clearly told us how much the LT5 is.

And it’s farrrrr from a parts bin engine unless you consider a bin that has LT5 parts in it.
the base zr1 is 120k and my 2015 z06 was over 100k and there is more to the base zr1 then just the motor so my zl1 1le was 73 msrp so I would guess 83k with an lt5

EXACTLY! You'd think they could give a loyalty discount. If you owned 2 or more Chevys for example...

GM is charging way too much for middle of the power it’s making. Maybe if GM didn’t half ass their engine development, they could charge more.
It’s more with the track pack. Which is what I would get.

Traded my mustang... got more $$$

EDIT: Have GM Supplier discount and have GM Family. SO if you want me to really bust your balls, it was better for me to take my Supplier discount than my families employee discount, GO ****ing figure.

IMO, they should have a commercial for the 1LE beating an M3 or whatever other luxury car... then people will come in and realize the other V8 models are just as fast on the road....

No dealer is budging on price on the 2020s. That's how I ended up with a 2019.

Let 'em sit and collect dirt on the lots if they're not going to give any deals on em.

A lot of assumptions being made here so, I will add mine. Because of this pandemic we are going to be going into a recession, with a lot of people losing their jobs. This does not bode well for any type of car sales. Even those that keep their jobs they may have second thoughts about taking on more debt at this time. Car prices are already outpacing wages. How will this affect car sales, let alone Camaro sales, only time will tell.

Well assuming the factories do open in Q2, they'll be 20% off before the end of July. If not, they won't because there won't be any cars to put on sale.

The best GM could come up with is a 6.2, a 6.2 with a blower and a 6.2 with a bigger blower. No N/A engine for the Z/28. No power increases over the lifespan of the engine. They develop them and then move on.

Ok?

That doesn’t change the fact that the GT500 doesn’t start at $100k. Besides, the Camaro is a parts bin car. It should be cheaper than the GT500.

Well, I've never seen and supplier discount that was less than my employee discount I get from my family member. Are you listed for the max discount? What I mean if your not a: Spouse, brother, son, daughter.... etc. You can still get a family number but not a full employee discount.
