My Nitto NT555 G2 6 months 500 mile review
(315/35ZR20XL’s and 285/35ZR20XL’s)
Purchased from Tirebuyer.com Subtotal: $874.00 Shipping charge: $29.96 Coupons: -$61.18 Sales Tax Collected: $44.64 Total paid by Credit Card: $887.42 I was a Perelli guy forever but but needed more rubber on the ground and just an overall upgrade. The Nittos are superior in that they provide heaps more traction which is all relative considering the amount of HP I’m putting down (but once you’re over X amount of HP you should learn how to drive better no matter what tire you’re on) They’re as good as any other tire in the rain, I slow down when it’s wet anyway... These tires smooth and quiet. I went from a roar to a whisper. My wife hadn’t ridden in the car in almost eight months remarked that the car rode like Cadillac compared to before. They’re a meaty tire and stick out a bit so they’re a bit messy if you have the RS package but not to bad. But mounted on ZL1 sized rims they look sick. Personally I don’t worry about wear, so I can’t review that. I buy new ones when I need to. I usually went through two sets of rears for every set of fronts, so I’ll probably expect the same with these. |
