When comparing the the Big Gulp intake air volume to the stock amount of air to your CAI, is there a way to compare or determine a CFM increase with or without the Big Gulp?

Our goal is to have completed kits by the end of the first week of December. At this point, the finishes on the inner working parts may be an issue. We will be relying on our powdercoater to push us to the front of the line once they have the parts in hand.
The Big Gulp will be available in a group buy offering on Camaro5 before it is listed on our website! |

WOW! I'm loving the testing you guys are doing and making sure you're not trading intake air for brake cooling. Very innovative!!!

Exactly, very innovative. While I know there are some that are still waiting on another vendor to complete thier no tune intake, you have to remember what Roto-Fab and JRE have done for us ZL1 owners. We are a relatively small market and they have spent a lot of time designing, testing, and publishing good results on some pretty awesome products. This is info we would not have otherwise had as a consumer. So think about that and support their ingenuity and innovation by buying thier products. I hate to see people come on here, look at all the data that Jannetty has published in regards to the no tune pulley testing and CAI and then run to another supplier for the parts because they can save $5. Support the guys that have put thier time and money into testing these products for us.

I'm in for the Big Gulp. I think it will go good with the CAI and Pulley. Thanks for your time JRE and Roto-Fab.

No the Big Gulp supplies more cold air to your intake. Not sure if you can use the stock intake with it. It is made for the Roto-Fab CAI's.

Ohhhh ok. I misunderstood the Big Gulp then. I thought it was a CAI but had a bigger intake tube. So, this is a seperate unit that attaches to the CAI's? OK I Gotchya!

Yes it directs more air to the intake. For even more air it blocks the brake duct. I would only recommend that for drag racing. If you did that when roadracing you would not have the cooling for the front left brake. That is why they made it adjustable.

The "air intake" setting can be used not for only drag racing, but also for much of your normal street driving when heavy, continuous braking isn't necessary. Also, keep in mind the Big Gulp will provide some air to the intake even when it's in the "brake duct" position.
