I don't know about his car, but my car ran 12 degrees and was off chart AFR when it made 1048 on 91+meth. Meth adds more than enough octane, and you don't need a ton of timing to make big power if the setup is good.

thanks DDCK24!

the car has an LPE speed reference controller hooked to a boost controller.

one of the first pulls were 13psi, no meth, and 4* of timing, 64x rwhp!

It made 74x rwhp with 13psi, 10* and no meth. I find this pretty impressive.

95x rwhp with 15psi, meth, and I believe 14*

as stated before, to make the 1000rwhp+ that was 18psi, 18* timing and of course meth.

this car is insane on the street thanks to owner having lots of suspension upgrades and 17'' wheel and tire combo

This kit also had the new Tial waste gates supplied by AGP. We found that the Tials virtually eliminated any boost spiking. It also helped to have the upgraded 61mm turbos.

stay tuned, we are breaking in a 416ci with another 56mm AGP kit with an auto trans. should be fun!

How so? Motor is built, everything is built for that power level, so why the negativity? This isn't' a stock motor.

Nevermind hadn't read the parts list correctly.

Thought it was stock motor with some internals.

Should be a beast.

Thank you Unreal! Haha Made my first pull on the high boost setting the other night and let's just say i was speechless. Amazing how much of a difference at the touch of a button.
Power felt insane, even made me a little paranoid, so I pulled #7 spark plug for a quick check and plug looked GREAT. New to the turbo/1000+rwhp world. Still sinking in on me, and gaining confidence in the new setup each and every time I drive it.

Time for even more suspension upgrades... The mickey dr's couldn't hold the power until finally in 4th gear

Yah, when you get it to hook 1000+ is violent. I had to pedal it Saturday night until ~80 where it starts hooking. Was on/off the gas and when I stabbed it at 80 I thought I got whip lash it was so violent when it hooks and went.

I don't know how often you turn up the boost but if it starts getting hot it might have a hard time keeping the head held down if you try to hold over 800whp for any length of time.

The head gasket will be the first to blow, that's why the big power blocks use a 6 bolt head set-up.

You guys throw around those big numbers in every turbo thread. Ask for one time slip 1/8 0r 1/4 and ::crickets:: I want to go twin turbo's but I'm afraid they're all talk and no walk. Prove me wrong and post up a few time slips to go along with those 1000-1200 hp monsters.
