Need help with HP Tuner

Hi guys I need a little bit of help configuring my HP Pro tuner to data log my fuel. I have a Innovate Motorsports LC-1 digital air/fuel gauge on my pillar that is reading 14.6 at idle but my HP tuner shows 10.2. The wires that come from the LC-1 are connected to the enhanced IO interface connector red wire to a/d input #1 and black wire to ground #5. What do you think might be the problem? Also is their a way to monitor fuel pressure with the HP tuner? This is what I have now.

You may have the parameters wrong for the wideband in hpt. If they look right, then try disconnecting the gauge while you are logging. When I have my gauge and hpt both connected at the same time, I get screwy readings.

Thanks I'll try that. Do you know if we can monitor fuel pressure with the HPT?

I know that I do on my vette by using a fuel pressure sensor from aeroforce. I assume that the Camaro, like the vette, doesn't have a sensor from the factory. I am not 100% sure about that though.

[PID.10] Fuel Pressure (SAE)

Add it to the table in the scanner then you can add it to your chart.

Thank you for the info. I installed the fuel pressure (SAE) and i see it on the table display but not on the Chart display. Are you able to see it on both display?

You have to add it to the chart view also.

Sounds like you need to read up on the HPTuners forums. It has a fairly steep learning curve to get everything the way you want. Lots of help over there, but don't expect to be hand fed.

In light of that...with the scanner & chart view open, right click on the chart and select Chart settings.
You can edit what's there or add more rows.

Glad you got that, now I suspect you need to work on the formula to match your analog output from the LC-1 to HPTuners. Some gauges use a 0-4 v output, some use 0-5v and have different ranges you need to tweak the formula for. HPT is rarely set up perfect for your logging out of the box.
