Would this fit with the CAI brand intake?

It looks like it will, but I can't say for sure.

We have an off set adapter for those using the CAI inc intake for the camaro SS. As long as the CAI air box design is the same for the ZL1 as it is with the SS, it will fit.

I agree. That's been holding me back...

I already have the Rotofab WW relocation reservoir so I don't want to remove that to install this IC reservoir. That's why the D3 looks to be a good option as it's installed at a different location.

I have one that I am selling for $200 plus shipping. Comes with installation supplies and has been hydro dipped. Never install or used.

That looks pretty cool. Too bad I already have one or I'd take it.

[QUOTE=jayno20;8682764]I figured since there doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on adding a reservoir without an aftermarket heat exchanger I'd put up my personal results from adding one.

Adding it into the stock system was hands down the easiest mod I've done to my car so far. A couple clamps, and a few cut hoses later it is completely installed and ready to go. You don't even have to worry about bleeding it, cause it will do it on its own once the car/pump is started.

So after installing it, I noticed right off the bat my IAT2 temperatures are lower in general, but the biggest difference is how fast they come down after a few pulls. I have an Aeroforce Interceptor and it is constantly monitoring IAT2 so I actually watched it drop from 110 to 84 in the matter of SECONDS. It was extremely nice to see this. I have popped the hood after every drive I've taken (one of which was about 2 hours) to verify no leaks or any problems and every time I put my hand on the tank it is cool to the touch, so I know this thing isn't absorbing heat out of the engine bay. So far, I am pretty impressed with the ease of installation and the seemingly big difference it has made with temperatures. Anyone who is interested I bought mine on ebay for 145.00 shipped. IMO, it is worth it just for the ease of bleeding the supercharger cooling system.

Here are a few pics after install:

What parts did you need to get to finish the install? Any thoughts on how you ran your hoses etc? I just ordered mine and wanted to know what I needed to finish. Thanks!

I bought a hose from Napa (PN: 9820) and 3 or 4 hose clamps.
