Does this pricing sound correct?
Just trying to figure out if the information I was given is correct or not...
Dealer quoted me $34,993 for a 2ss/rs/hurst/manual... The dealer stated this price was $500 over invoice... According to the data I could find on this website, invoice for this car with my options should be somewhere around $33,652 with DSC included, so that should put my price at around $34,152. Am I using the correct information or just not looking at this correctly? Thanks. |

Your numbers sound closer to where they should be

Also when he quoted me the price he stated this was "bottomline dealer invoice"...I'm guessing that means with no fees or anything attached

If that includes tax, title and tag.
Then that's about the best deal I've seen anyone get. and if not then it's still under MSRP, which is still good. |

If the dealer is charging you $xxxx over invoice, I'm sure he will show you the invoice with no questions asked and that will confirm it.
However, the difference may be the advertising which is usually 1.5% of MSRP minus freight. If the dealer is at 2% advertising, that would account for the $800 difference. Most sites cannot tell you what percentage the dealer's advertising charge is.

Just ask for a detailed breakdown of pricing. All we can do is speculate on the number he gave you. Is he charging for the installation of the Hurst? Per Chevylaunch RPO pricing, there's an hour labor associated with installation.

I was under the impression that the Hurst shifter included the installation price, I seem to remember people saying that
