I am not even thining about trading my 10 in. I do not want to take the loss. Now when the Z28 hits the market then I may just have to do it.

I wouldn't do it. You've got the basic formula right, which is car = CAMARO
There's no reason to re-do the entire thing. Put in an aftermarket shifter and forget HUD. It's not like HUD makes you go faster and it's not an information add (everything displayed is something you can read somewhere on the dash) |

As others have said, after calculating the $ diff is the HUD,Hurst and 1 year newer worth longer payment, ins. etc. I can tell you for sure with me hailing from Maryland is most definitely NOT. When titling car we pay taxes on price. As much as I love the camaro my 2010 will have to do! 6% on maybe 36K-I just can't justify it. Even w/o the tax I gotta believe you could add some nice mods for the $$$. Just my .02

Keep what you have...those two things aren't worth all that trouble. Just add the Hurst for $300. I put on in my old WS6 in under 30 minutes...it's easy to do.

Go for what you want. Either way, you are going to lose money. If you think a 2010, will be worth more than a 2011, your kidding yourself.

As mentioned, having the same payment does not mean you aren't taking a bath in it.
What are you going to do when the '12 comes out and has some other little option that the '11 doesn't? No way I would take a loss like that for HUD and a shifter IMO. Just enjoy your top of-the-line '10! |
