Z/28.R going up for sale
I am the owner of chassis no. 4.
Factory Chevrolet built/supported Pratt & Miller race car that raced in IMSA during the 2014 & 2015 season. I am eventually going to place an ad on a pay for site but figured I would offer it up here first. There is sooooo much to tell about this car. Some of the best drivers in Road Racing today or any day have campaigned this car. Eric Curran/Lawson Aschenbach/Jordan Taylor/Kyle Marcelli/Martin Barkey. From a historical standpoint this car is an important car. A true Z/28.R. This is not a copy of an R. This is the real deal. 115k obro. I will consider trades up to 50k. GLWS. I've seen all the Z28.r cars run, and used to live a couple blocks from P&M. Watched them run at COTA quite a bit, cool car to see in person then have the street version at home!

Lovely GLWTS
Interested in hearing the full spec of these Z28.R cars if you have it listed anywhere? Do they have a carbon fibre propshaft? |

Thanks for all the wishes on the sale. She really is a special car and I will regret the sale the minute she leaves the garage. I have a lot of great memories, personally, with the R and of course the race pedigree is equally as enjoyable. Watching Eric Curran take first place this year in prototype and Jordan Taylor win at Lemans are just a couple of the moments that I look at the R and say "pinch me...…...I own a car that was driven by these guys."
The prop shaft is made by Mark Williams Enterprises. It is feather light. I know there are guys building race cars out there and trust me you cannot build a car anywhere near this for this price. Give Pratt & Miller a call and ask for a roundabout price on a build. I am pretty sure you would be looking at 300 plus k. The race pedigree is gravy. Chevrolet lists this car (1 of 4 Z/28.R's) as one of the most significant Camaros built. I have articles documenting such. Call me if anyone is interested. I will probably list in a few days. |

This car should go to a Barrett-Jackson auction.

That is a good idea.
A few months ago Mecum had an auction in Dallas with the main attraction being Z28's. That would have been the perfect auction. For the collector who is interested in bowties this would be a great addition. |

Barret Jackson is great for buyers...not sellers. Even the commentators laugh at 'well bought' prices there. Sellers take a bath on what they bring, unless there's a reserve on the cars
