If this was one of the greens it would seriously be within the top 3 colors I would consider. Heck, it might even be #1. I've always wanted an absurdly green car... |

lol.no they painted the stripes on the roof cause i asked them to..i like to be complete when i do things..i think stripes on the hood and truck only looks undone.but come on??? why all the mustang crap about the stripes..ive seen tons and tons of camaros and other cars with wrapped stripes..the reason i wanted full stripes actually is cause of all the 60 and 80 models i seen growing up with the full stripes..and till here recently no mustangs or other cars for that matter

I was just throwing a fun little jab. I think it looks good, but I was surprised a lot of the GM purists did not point it out earlier. I believe everyone should be allowed to do their car as they like, but the GM thing during the Muscle era had been without stripes on the roof. They did a great job on the paintwork. I really think I should go ahead and do painted stripes once I decide which color to get them in on my CGM, but I've got a friend that does really nice Vinyl and I think I will go that route in case I change my mine (been known to happen) and then paint them on down the road.

What's the status of green right now? I know what synergy green looks like but what do we know about the darker green--that's the one I have my sights set on...

WARNING: Newbie with odd request....
Would anyone with PhotoShop skills mind making a "BULLITT"-ized 2010 Camaro??? In 1968, Steve McQueen decided that his character of Detective Frank Bullitt would drive a customized '68 390GT V-8 Fastback. McQueen customized the car himself through the eyes of his character and decided to take off all "Ford", "Mustang", and "GT" badging, removing the famous Galloping Horse and Corral from the front grille and replacing the rims with American Racing Magnesium rims. I am curious as to see what a new Camaro would look like using the '68 Fastback as reference. I browsed through the PS threads and found something similar, but the renderings were all rear, 3/4 views with no view(s) from the front. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just did this one real quick...this is close to what I wish I could get. It's a bluer green with gold undertone...it'd have to be a multi-step pearl coat, but I like the end result.
I know it's not perfect, but I did this in less than 5 min. so cut me some slack, haha. |
