I messed up... big time.

So... I've had my 2011 2LT RS for less than 3 months... and it has less than 4000 miles on it... and now its broken.

I was taking a left hand turn roughly 40 mph, downshifted into second for the turn and must have went into with too much oomph. I hit a curb/median thing with both right side wheels, up and over completely.

It looks like the real right wheel has a blown tire, may be pushed back slightly but couldn't tell and couldn't really get a good look without me being disgusted with myself.

The front wheel is pushed back far enough that it ate up the lining in the wheel well. There is a slight bump in the hood from maybe the strut tower? The right fender is misaligned slightly where it meets the front bumper. The front bumper has a hole on the bottom, probably from hitting the curb.

The worst thing is that there are small indents on opposite corners of the sunroof, which makes me think that there is significant FRAME DAMAGE!!!

The car is sitting at a Chevrolet dealership waiting for my Allstate claims adjuster to come look at everything with the body shop. I know I messed up and I blame everything on myself, but if anyone has any insights into what may be broken or any idea if the car will ever be the same again please speak up... thanks.

WOW, it look likes it bent your roof aswell near sunroof? if thats the case looks like a totall? hope not tho but that is a lot of damage just by making a left turn, how fast were you going? i'm sure lower/upper control arms are bent along with much more under there for it to buckle fender/roof etc,etc

*EDIT* hope your wife/gf isn't laying into right now? she don't look to happy, LoL

these cars are powerful. You really have to be careful when you "play". Glad no one was hurt.

I did almost the same thing but scaled back a bit. I had to buy a new rim and a new lower control arm

How was it moved? Were you able to drive it back home or towed? I had a tire blow out and my front hit the curb and then grinded along it. No body damage in my case but my complete front suspension was wrecked. About $3,000 in damages.

Hopefully you don't have frame damage but it looks a little bad...

Need another pic of the girl in the pink dress to give you my honest opinion.
The kink on the roof line isn't good...

That sucks, can't believe it bent the roof ? Do some homework and find a good bodyshop. Goodluck,
A side note after you get it fixed run it threw a carwash to see if the sunroof is leaking ?
