Good place for exhaust work?

Im in the Dc Md Nova area looking for a good reputable muffler shop. I've search online found a few places just looking for word of mouth referrals rather than internet testimonials lol. Well I guess this would sort of be like an internet testimonial as well but I trust most of what is said on this forum than anywhere else lol. Thanks in advance

I went to automufflers in Hyattesville. They quoted me $75 on the phone, but when I got there I was told some extra part was necessary to install an axel back on my old V6. I bought used, so I dont know whether they were trying to get me for extra money.

I went back a month or so later to uninstall my SLP Loudmouth to go back to stock. I was charged $150, which the guy told me was a discount from $250 for the exact same work.

I had the work done because I wanted the SLP off, but that left a sour taste in my mouth.

You should call ahead for a quote and not budge from the price you are told.

The install was an hour or so.

I planned on running some magnaflow universal cats, magnaflow x pipe, magnaflow oval mufflers and finish it off with 4 inch tips looking for install and weld for the custom system. Also curious about the resonators heard a few people say keep one and x pipe the other not sure how that would work lol.

Dont go there they do the shitiest weld jobs unless my friend is there which is not that often. Go to T&T he actually knows what hes doing unlike they guys over at automufflers who ****ed up alot of my stuff.

Tim at T @ T worked on my ZL1 last year did a great job (headers, cam,
pullies, cold intake etc).
Round two will be some more cosmetic modes and dressing up under the
hood some.
Won't be to much longer Before it gets nice enough to take my baby out
and hit the roads again.

You may also want to check Bayne's Exhaust and Repair in Winchester, VA. I had some work done there, worked very well for me.
PM me for phone # if you want.

NOT HP Racing in Glen Burnie.

I've had work done at Tony's in Glen Burnie. Kind of a dive but they've put dual exhaust on some of my pickups and installed my flowmaster catback on the car.

There is a spot on 301 in upper marlboro. He does decent work for a decent price. Had my muffler delete done by this shop prior to getting my headers installed.

Going South on 301 from Bowie. Its rite after the Maryland Veteran Memorial Cemetery. I cant remember the name of the shop but you cant miss it. It has a very LARGE muffler sitting on the street as advertisement.
