Whipped whistle?

After I installed my whipple supercharger, around 1800-2000 rpm in 2nd gear there is a whistle, it’s not the whine, from the supercharger, but a whistle. Can anyone tell me what it is? I’m thinking a vacuum leak, but the car runs great. That whistle is kind of loud. I have cold air intake, would that cause a whistling sound? Or is it normal? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Nothing to be alarmed about we have heard this many times at certain blade openings of the throttle body.

As long as the logs look good your good.

Ted.

Thanks Ted, it was driving me crazy, i thought I had a vacuum leak, or something. I'm glad I went with you for all my mods. By the way can you give me a ball park number of hp, and tq at the wheels with the mods I have in my sig.

620ish to the tire through a auto I'm guessing.
What boost are you seeing with the 3.875 pulley, cam and headers?

i have a m6. i'm at 7 with the 3,875 pulley, does that seem right, that's what my boost gauge says. would it be safe to change the pulley and up the boost

Is the boost gauge utilizing obd2 data, a electronic gauge with its own sender or the old school mechanical gauge with a vacuum line ran to the cabin?

I think that's about right with a cam and headers. Mine would peak about 9 with the 3.75" pulley up top but it made a little less down low.
I just swapped the 3.5" pulley on and I haven't went wot yet because it is cold but it is really easy to get to 8psi mid range with a little over half throttle so I think it will make good boost as long as I don't have belt slip.

Safe is a opinion. There are lots of people running a smaller pulley on a stick motor but it is a risk just like your current setup is. It will probably be fine but no one can say 100% because you can have motor problems with a bone stock car.
I wouldn't think twice about going to a 3.75" pulley though. I have one I'm going to be selling in about two weeks.
Who is tuning the car? That is the biggest factor in the question of safe.

I see that some people are claiming it is normal from the TB at certain times, but have you replaced the TB at all, or removed it? I've heard TB gaskets give off a whistle if they weren't replaced.
