New Nittos arrived

Just got my new Nittos today and the 305/35/20 makes the stock tires look like bicycle tires. I am waiting on my Iconz wheels that I ordered before I mount them but they look great and are nice and soft. Can't wait to have a tire that will hook.

Here is a pic of the rears for comparison. Yes they are drag radials and will be used at track as soon as Spring arrives.

I was at the track this last weekend, i dont know what kind of power you are putting out but a 2009 challenger with a maggie (no other mods) couldnt hook with those Nittos. Also i have read other places around the forum much of the same.

BUT if you are stock and just really want to hook, i think they will be fine.

I have personally seen lots of high horsepower cars this year with these packing front wheels so I believe they will be fine. If they don't hook, I will go with soemthing else. I will also have a set of 18" rear with full slicks for when I am not just out fun weekend as these will be daily drivers as well. I will be putting down over 850hp to the wheels so full slicks will be my only reliable tire for serious track tuning.

good looking tire...Be curious how they perform. I'm not a fan of the Pirelli's.

Yeah tread wear is only 100. Stay out of the rain.

These are pure performance tires, you should not expect to do any touring with these... I have read several post of people saying drag radials don't hook well and this is with all brands I am speaking of, but I hope they understand that they will not hook right out of the gate as they need some time on them and heat cycles to get where they will perform as they are supposed too.

Drag radials are great, i run an 11.9 @116 in my 010 and don't slip at all!

Who makes your 18' slick? do you have a link that i could take a peak at?

I meant to put 17 not 18 as I am going with SJM drag wheels and will be using pure slicks when it is dialed in and I can put all the hp to the rear tires.
