Just got back from my dealer they got their allocation today I am officially getting a 2012 ZL1 Order is submitted TPW May 14 -20.

I want to follow the progess with out buggin my dealer every day. How are all of you guys finding out when your status moves like from 1100 to 2000 and so forth? can you do that from internet or is someone gettin that info for you?

Got off the phone with my dealer and I'm being pushed to 2013!

However, I'm keeping my order at the current dealership for now, and in also going to another dealer, to better my odds!! First come, first serve! Probably will not remain with original dealer, as I will probably move to a dealership closer to home!

Did you place a deposit with the original dealer? Make sure whats involved to get a refund if so. Make sure to get something in writing as far as paying the MSRP etc. Good luck!

Called dealer told him to change the order to exposed insert. He said it came up no charge for ECF, passed the Edit tables, order accepted. Will see if it updates on Gmconnects.... I hope.

How do you know if you are going to be moved to 2013? Does it happen automatically or does the dealer have to it?

I called my dealer they, have no allocation for this week and the 3 cars that were ordered are still 2012 including mine. Do I need to ask them to move me to 13?

They should have been informed by today by their GM Rep (how I don't know) that they were going to have some of their orders filled in today's DOSP. If they didn't, you are being pushed to 2013 as this is the final consensus period for the 2012 models that they will build until the end of June. After sometime in June, the model year will be switched to 2013 (and I'd imagine some re-tooling on the assembly line for the new dash) and then we start the process all over again of waiting for an allocation to match to an order

Well that was one hell of an April 19...........sweet f_ _ _ k all.........I think they must have gotten April confused with August....yep.......phone just a ringin right off the hook..........up here the dealers know whats going on, they just blindly hope they will get a car and cant bare the thought of losing a potential sell.........mums the word..........
