Not hard to install at all, it's more time consuming trying to slide it in especially if you have the 4 pack gauges, but the oem radio is almost the same wit the bottom piece.
the unit itself is in perfect condition, with a minor hairline scratch from the install, ican send you pics of those as well.

Yes I had it lock up on me a few times at first, but all after I got used to the way it works and a little bit of patientes it hasn't since.
and what I mean by that is that it's like a computer and have to give it time to process so to speak, like in the morning when you first start your car it litterely takes a few minutes to start playing music.

Nice thing about the older system is that it all works. The 4.0 doesn't work with the OBD2 system through Bluetooth, just music. The 2.3.4 system is more stable from what it sounds like for now.
