Any shooters here?

An idea came up to today to get some of us shooters together for a day of guns and cars. I know Scott likes to shoot, any others?

If I get enough interest, I'll see what gun ranges can accommodate a group.

We like to shoot. Hubbie is a member at Central Whidbey Sportsman association here on Whidbey Island. We could check to see if we can arrange for a group to use the ranges if you all want to make the drive up here. They have rifle, pistol, trap, steel plates, and bowling pins! Also, we have done a trip to Idaho at a gun range (Center Target Sports) that has automatic rifles that they rent to shoot at their indoor range, they give a discount to Law Enforcement and Military.

Looks like we might have enough for a small group. Even if you don't own weapon, I'm sure people will share. We'll need to setup something after car show season is over. Camaros and Guns.

Guess we should start looking for more ammo. It is getting easier and cheaper to find now.

I am totally in. I wouldn't be able to get people into the SPD range. But I may have some sway with a range or two in the South King area.

I don't mind shooting, however I'm leaving Washington State for about a half year...so maybe when I get back this will still be happening?

I would be in if far enough south. I would be willing to share if someone comes up with the ammo! Lots to choose from!

The steel plates are fun, but I really like the bowling pins. There are four stands for it, so you can compete with each other to see who knocks them all down first.

We (mean Hubbie) reloads, so we have a good supply to have fun with. If you do not reload, keep your brass, as he would appreciate having it! For those who are still undecided on purchasing and want to try some out, we have enough of a variety that they could get a good feel. Of course also have a nice selection of rifles/AR's, even an M1 Garand...that ping when the clip empties is a really neat sound...but the kick is a bruiser!

We don't mind traveling down south. But if it is decided to come north and perhaps because of that want to make it an overnight trip, we do have two spare bedrooms and a travel trailer with a full size bed. Plus there is plenty of room to camp in our backyard. There of course are hotels & a Navy Lodge too (although you could not take your guns onto the base). Plus the drive up the Island from the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry dock is a nice curvy one, but unfortunately between Sherrif's, state patrol, and local town police, it is not great to take the curves with much "spirited driving".
