It's normal for the neck/cap to touch the filter. Nice job.

You did a great job! You can see my washer fluid filler is just like yours. I want to relocate mine.

I think for proper operation of the airflow metering the maf sensor needs to be at the 12 o'clock position. Chime in if I am wrong guys but with CAI it is this way.

I believe my MAF sensor is correctly level just like it was on the stock intake.

For every 10 post that say it works just fine , no tune, not cutting or body mods needed...There is that one or two post talking about backfiring, studs in the way of air filter, car throwing CEL..so it does make me a little nervous..i don't want to be that guy..lol With my luck, all those things will happen to me..Like I said, I'm already committed , ordered mine today...Thoughts ????
No Problem on mine.

Nice work, you are going to love it. You can relocate the W/W but after a while you won't even notice it.

Roto-fab CAI systems-the ZL1 points the connector of the MAF sensor towards the firewall. With all of our other 5th gen systems the connector side of the MAF housing is pointed towards the front of the car. None of ours point the sensor to the top.

We don't expect problems with our intakes; nonetheless, I'm glad to hear you are feeling good about it. In addition to the CAI, we also offer the Big Gulp which provides additional air to your air box while maintaining a functional brake duct. If you aren't familiar, here is a link.

https://www.roto-fab.com/big-gulp-ai...ble-brake-duct

We also offer carbon fiber finish pieces such as the engine cover, fuse relay cover, and strut tower brace. They won't make your car any faster, but they sure look good!

That's a statement we have heard many times. Once I was talking to a Camaro owner that said, " When it comes to cars, I fu#@ everything up, but my Roto-fab intake installation went smoothly."
Often it's the guy that doesn't work on cars that will do the best job on our intake installation. I think its because our instructions are thorough and take you through step by step. The ones that don't work on cars often will follow the instructions word for word...then we have the guys like me who think they don't need to read the instructions...
