L99 OUT OF FUEL

I have an l99 runing at 534rwhp after a mast cam install and a procharger. But i ran a 7.52 1/8 time before the mast cam and today i ran a 7.99 and was tottaly pissed off. Its like the the cam retarded my timing.

did you have it re-tuned for the cam,, did you re-pulley to bring back the boost you probly lost with the cam?

mat be the difference in the weather also, compare it to your better run and see the difference.

I'm not sure how much boost you're running but we found that around 510ish the L99 does run out of fuel. I'm making 550 at 10.7 psi but needed meth to be able to use the stock fuel bump.

Seems like something is not right. I ran 7.7 w/ just headers, CAI and a tune. Something is way off. Let Brent & Frank look at it and figure out the problem. There is a problem. If you were hooking, there`s something going on. The cam could even been ground incorrectly or degree`d off possibly.

2010 SS L99, 536rwhp 10.843@126.72. Whipple Supercharger stock pulley, ARH 1 7/8 longtubes w/ catted xpipe, magnaflow 3" mufflers, ADM Race CAI, 3:70 gears, lightweight wheels and nitto drag radials. Stock internal L99, stock converter.

Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

Problem fixed.

Had the fastlane duel fuel pump installed and retuning and it went up to 573rwhp. I'm happy now and can't wait till saturday to return to richmond dragway.The car feels alot faster.Thanks for comments guys.

In my bolts-on run was 12.447

When I install my mast stage I it was 12.499

After that I bought the stage II camshaft 12.72

So I think our problem is that we need yank torque converter
