I just got back today and there are some vicious potholes!!! Like swallow up whole car size!!
Saw a black with orange or red stripes around 6:30 on circle going west(one of you??)....sunroof....license plate was a custom but won't say what it was(started with 2 ended with S). If it's good enough for that guys black car it's good enough for me!!

That would be me! haha. Got my custom plates today, pretty psyched!

Also I've been driving for a couple days now. Goes in for a sub/amp on friday. Hopefully body shop next week and hopefully in for the supercharger the following week.

Ok, you must have your exhaust done because it sounded pretty awesome!! I was going to roll down my window and see if it was a C5'er but never got side-by-side long enough.
She looked nice and shiny though!!! Nice car!

Yeah great exhaust (Borla ATAK) Tiesun, thanks again for swinging by the other day, hopefully placing the order for mine here with a couple weeks. Suppose to be mid teens this weekend, that'll dry it up, planning to plate mine next week.

Maybe stupid question but where are you guys going for oil changes? I want to go synthetic right away once I get it out of the garage (hopefully next week) and not really wanting to take it to SMP. I am thinking about Sherwood (they sponsor the Saskatoon Camaro Club for which I am a member of). Any other places worth checking out? Not sure how the whole 'Onstar' tracks all that stuff but just curious as to where you local guys are getting it done.

My garage....took it to SMP for the first one because first one was free I think, all others have done myself.

IronToss, I go to Sherwood, they are pretty good. Ask for Brian to be your service advisor. Or Nick. They are both great.

And FYI: Your car came with synthetic.

^ didn't know, only have 1500kms on it, barely drove the thing last year and still learning about the car. Yeah I'll head to Sherwood.

Yeah I bought it at SMP but their facilities are so old, although they are going through a renovation now, but regardless, I'll head to Sherwood, they sponsor the local Camaro club so they will get my business. PM sent back as well.

Yeah I'm heading to Sherwood next week to get my oil changed. I used to work at SMP and I'll never take my car to the oil techs they have now.

I got mine at SMP and took it in for the first oil change... against my better judgement.

Had an "appointment" but didn't get in until an hour after it even though I was there a half hour before it. Cost me 90 bucks and the tech that came to drive it around stalled it twice in the breezeway..... nice

I've since gone to amsoil 0w30 and it's awesome, also do my own oil changes. Picked up 1.5L/100km in fuel mileage just by changing the oil. No one touches the car but me now, I don't care if they try to bitch about my warranty.

I'm hoping to bust out my car this weekend. tomorrow morning I'll be finishing my header/exhaust install and goin' to visit SGI to get it legal on the road again.

Anyone know when the Stoon club meetings are starting up again? I changed my email and have been out of the loop lately.

Ha, yeah the place just looks old as shit, that waiting room must be from the 70's (or older). Sherwood is new(er) and with them sponsoring the local club, better location, etc..... good to know about the techs.

With the look of the roads this morning, probably won't be getting my car out for a bit, mostly worried about all the gravel. The potholes are manageable but the gravel (ie: rock chips) is incredible.

Thanks again, and definitely check out 'Saskatoon Camaro Club' sometime as well. Might as well have another Black/Orange stripes one on the crew, hah.

Nice! I was the only black w/ orange stripes last year. looks like there'll be a few more cool kids this year haha 3- maybe 4 of us?
