What are the benefits of your ported throttle body?

Throttle response, increased cross section and overall CFM. Testing will be coming soon individually for power gains. I am also designing a jig for the flow bench to determine overall CFM gains. Combined with our intake manifold they were worth 17/16rw on my car. I didn't separate the two since they are mutually supporting and I was looking for the greatest gains possible. Every effort was taken to smooth the transition of air into the TB bore and reduce turbulence. The TB blade bar is also reduced from 12mm to 3-4mm effectively increasing the cross section by 158mm. This takes the speed bump out of the middle of the air flow path reducing turbulence and increasing volume. The best part is it doesn't change your idle TP% at all. None of the blade sweep area is touched with the grinder to ensure stock operation.

Was the 17/16rw with a tune?

No, it was after I tuned it that I swapped the IM/TB. It didn't need any more tuning after that. I actually lost 1-2rw with my tuning attempts so I put it back to where it was when I did the swap. Below is a link to the original post. Everything is laid out there.

I got some flow numbers for our ported TB today. I flowed it against a stock one on my bench but I was only able to get .5" of depression. The gains still looked really good but I had no conversion factor to 28". So today I took it to my local SF600 bench. All I could get out of the SF600 was 5" of depression. At 5" the stocker flowed 1,255 cfm. Our ported TB flowed 1,429 cfm. I was pretty happy with that.

Were the gains including a Roto-Fad at the time of testing?

No, I just tested the TB. I did add a filter to the testing on my bench and the gains between TB's were the same but overall numbers were down due to having the filter attached to it. I think the RF dry filter flowed 880cfm@7.87" in a pic I saw posted here.
