Question Tire Rotation for a 2SS?

Just thinking since my oil change light came on this week and I will be heading to the local dealership for an oil change... what about the tires?

This will probably be an easy question for you guys, but it's late and thinking if I should leave them a message that I also need a tire rotation... 2SS?

I'm pretty sure it's a no with directional tires, but thought I'd check in here to ask if a 2016 2SS would require a tire rotation? Will check out the tires in the morning, but appreciate the insight.

Thanks!

(Previously had a Gen5 V6)

The rear wheels are wider than the front on your SS. The tires can be switched left to right and right to left.

Thanks again for the explanation. As you saw, I posted in the general forum as I didn't want to bring the car in twice and wasn't sure what response I'd get from the dealership. Have everything scheduled for Monday now.

Side note: I'm still not sure about how just changing the sides does much, but will follow the advice here along with the manual.

So I can just switch the wheels? Or are the stock tires directional?

The tires on your SS are not directional. Tell your service advisor at your Chevrolet dealer that the front tires are switched and the rear tires are switched. The tires are not dismounted from the wheels.

This. Just got home from the oil change/tire rotation appointment.
