Cold Air Intake questions
Thinking about it.
What's the opinion of the better ones? Whose has the least air whistle? Worth the $$$ for the HP increase? I watched a Phastek installation video and he disconnected the battery. Is that really necessary or is it just a good habit. The reason I ask is that on the 2017's, there is no door to the battery. You have to remove the right side trunk interior. Not the worst of problems cause I did it for my battery tender pigtail installation but I'd rather not have to do it. Thanks. |

Easiest route is to just pull the correct fuse. I can look that up today.
Rotofab has no whistle and has shown legitimate gains from independent tests. The value will increase as your modification list increases. Tim |

Here's my recent thread on my Cold Air Inductions intake. I stacked everything against it to see what it would gain. I am very pleased with the results: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473466

I had the CAI when I first started my mods, mine never whistled and loved the look. I switched to Mikes Rotofab when I went supercharged, love my Fab also and fits my needs with my Heartbeat. Quality products for sure.
