2014 CTF #32 for sale

Black, No A/C. Pretty steep price IMO

https://www.basilcars.com/inventory/...fs1ee3e9699032

Went to auction January 22, 2015, with only 253 miles on it. Now has 6225 miles on it. Looks like none of the red lettering on the engine covers has peeled off.

$47,990

Owners need to be a little more realistic on their pricing if they want to sell ... yes this is a sweet car that car guys love and that truly is the problem. I say Z/28 to someone and they think of Z28. Kind of tired of explaining why my Z/28 is special but that’s the knock that GM and our buddy Al will have to live with forever.

It will be interesting to see if the fact that's a CTF car (#32 of 69)
will add any value.

Exactly, I have to do this all the time, it is not the countless sticker package version of the car previously sold.

What a sweet car. This is truly the one that got away for me in life.... I never predicted these steal prices for these cars. Recently recommended one to a friend and he bought it with 3000 miles for $44k, A/C car, black. I almost wept inside when he let me drive it. I still cant believe people pay $40k for e46 M3s yet the Z/28 goes for these prices. Literally no better car in the world for the money to buy right now. Hope it goes to a good home.

I really don’t know why this is a good thing ... does anyone have to explain the F40? The Eleanor? The 69 Camaro? The Judge? The ... etc. GM screwed up and that’s why I got the Z/28 in red (AC) with 2000 miles for 40k when it was priced at 76. I actually feel bad for the guys that paid full price for these awesome machines

Never give up on your dream. I waited 4 years to get my dream and I paid what I was going to pay ... if it’s something you want then get your financials in order and budget to put this monster in your stable. Good luck and never say “I can’t”.. there are always ways

This will be temporary -- give it a decade or two... and is not the case with real true car guys. When a knowing person sees the Z/28 it always means 20 minutes of great conversation with a person who knows cars. The only time I saw one in person before I bought one, I bothered the owner for over 30 minutes about the car, the track, etc.

I've already had one of those talks myself and I've only driven it a handful of times.

I kind of like the overall current stealth condition.

Exactly. Every "cars and coffee" event I go to, I end up having a small crowd around my car with guys that know what it is. It's not a well known car but it is certainly acknowledged by the few that understand what it is.

I'm not sure why you feel bad for them? The early adopters have 36,000 more reasons to love this car than you do. Without them stepping up with early orders, there may have been way less than 1800 built.

Lol Tx. Problem is I bought my 2013 1LE as one of the earliest buyers, gutted it, caged it, one seater track car now at 3475lbs with z/28 CCM brakes, z/28 suspension (dampers, bars, control arms), including z/28 wheels and more work in pipeline. Tracked it since 2013 and thing is very quick (my goal was to mert or best z/28 laptimes which I now have overachieved lol). Then the LS7 craving I cured with a 2009 z06 I bought a year ago.

If I ever smash my 1LE good (I did a bit last year but all fixed now) the z/28 is happening. What a car damnit I need to stop looking......
