Straight from the dealer launch site....

Is the Camaro going to be offered at G.M.S pricing?

We'll be making an announcement on our GMS plans closer to the start of production.

I wish GM wouldn't have used "G.M.S.". GMS is employee pricing. GSU is supplier pricing.

GMEPP - EMPLOYEE ORDER/STOCK (GMS)
GMEPP - EMPLOYEE PEP (GMU)
GM SUPPLIER (GSU)
GM IN THE DRIVEWAY (GID)

The dealers I spoke with said that they will still be looking a MSRP. I am also entitled to the GSU discount so I was curious.. Granted I am waiting for th vert so maybe I will have a better shot at it?

I called the 800 number on the supplier website and they said no.

I'm just going to order from a dealer that says they will honor it if GM decides to give it and if they do, i'll try to stack on some more options

Honestly even if GM states that they will not honor supplier price but your dealer said they would give it to you, it doesn't hurt them to sell it to you at that price. If you take a 2SS at the employee price and add 4% for supplier price they would still be selling it roughly $375 over invoice. If I am wrong please speak up and let me know.

as of june 2006, buff whelan chevrolet in sterling heights MI is selling the 2010 camaro with the supplier discount if you order your camaro from Chevrolet through the dealership. i don't know if any other dealerships in the area are making this claim.

does anyone know if chevrolet can add GMPerformance parts to the camaro when you put in an order for the camaro? for example, i'd like the LS trim AND want to tack on extras a-la carte style: GMPerformance exhaust, upgraded headers, CAI, 4-gauge pack, fog lights, leather seats and leather steering wheel

if so, would installation be free because they're assembling it at the plant? also, would all these add-ons be covered under the warranty?

i've tried to ask several dealerships these questions but they either tell me "i'll have to check on it" or they haven't answered me at all.

thanks!
