Modified exhaust ticket
Got a modified exhaust ticket the other day. It is checked "yes" under correctable. Anyone know the best way to go about this. Or how much it will run me once it had been corrected or without correction and just the fine? When getting it corrected what is the process they use? Just turn on the car, listen to see if its loud? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!!

Think you can just find a friendly cop to sign off on it, I was pulled over the other day for no front license plate, tinted tail lights, and exhaust "too loud" but he let me go guess he just wanted to see what I was doing driving at 1am

I think you just got a "fix it" ticket. Your supposed to fix it and then have another cop sign off on the ticket. BTW this kinda freaks me out cause I'm living a block away from CSUN.

I hope i can just put a very restrictive muffler and resonator on and get away with the "fix it" because i dont want to go with the whole removal of headers etc..

I used to get loud exhaust fix it tickets all the time when i lived in Cali. I would cram a bunch of steel wool in the exhaust and drive slowly to the police station to have it signed off. On the way home, I would blow out the steel wool.
