Plasti Dip Bowtie

Wasn't sure about doing this, but seems to have turned out pretty good... Now need to do the back...

Plastic drop cloth, automotive tape and a can of Pasti Dip from Home Depot and did it myself... Working on the back now...

I love my gold bowties, but that's an individual preference, and everyone is entitled to their opinions.

As far as YOUR choice to blacken your Camaro bowties, I think a shiney black color would look better. Flat black (PlasticDip) bowties on a shiney black car just doesn't look right to me.

I think there is something you can use to make it shine, but not sure. Maybe someone on here knows...

Did you actually remove the bowties from the car to paint them?

Yes, plasti-dip makes a gloss coat spray that you can use over the matte colors for a shine.
