Ive heard several people say that their paint is "perfect" or "not a single flaw" or "I dont have 1 paint chip". If thats true,.....great,awesome,good for you!!But Id have to see it to believe it. Is the paint on our cars great? No,but the paint on most new mass produced cars have at least 1 or 2 issues. You can go to a new car lot and look at brand new cars and Ill bet you will find small, tiny inperfections on a lot of them. Please dont think Im calling anyone a liar. But unless you got a custom paint job and then put your car in a bubble,I dont see how anyone is not going to have a few problems with a mass produced painted car.Thank you.

The paint on these cars sucks. It's a well-known fact. There are a TON of threads on this.

Kinda funny, my Rally Yellow looks just fine but both IOM had small issues. Seems to be more problems with the metallic colors.

The flaws that I can find or point out are eclipsed by the volume of people who compliment me on the paint and ask if it's a custom paint job.

alyssasdad:
I don't mean any disrespect to anyone but I bought a Chevrolet, not a Rolls or Bently.
My mass produced Camaro's paint is everything that I expected-
No runs, no dirt, no mismatched panels, etc; and best of all no CHIPS.
That's after 3 years and 23,000 miles of mostly interstate travel.
Buy new house, a boat, an appliance and your going to find something that's not 100%.
