:/ Suppose I'm the only one but I hope this interior is just more test mule fodder. Keep the steering wheel and blow everything else up. Everything looks like it came out of a Tonka truck or Power Wheels. If these are the kinds of designs and materials GM intends to use in their "premium" cars to be priced above the competition they're unlikely to get out of the red any time this millennium. Give the Holden stuff a facelift and leave well enough alone.

LOVING IT GM!
Those switches might be for windows or something, nitrous, turbo on/off, supercharger on/off LMAO?, because I thought the lock button was between the a/c knobs as seen in the old pics , but things can change. Secondly, I wonder what is hiding behind those black pieces of tape on top of the tach and speedo gauges. In every pic including the old ones they are there and I hope they are not there to hold up that silver plastic piece from falling. lol probly not, I bet some shift lights or something cool , or nothing . And what does "SHUNT in trunk" mean? |

Excellent, but some flaws
3 Flaws
1) Shifter knob looks much to Infinity / Nissan Altima-ish 2) Why is the Archaic key-place still mounted on the steering-column? I thought GM was past this? 3) The air vents in the center are fine but need some sprucing up, they look almost last minute-ish. Other than those smallllllll gripes, this is a huge improvement over the earlier editions we have been seeing. Now... if we could just get past the snoozy look of this test model. SO far, I am just bored with the exterior. I think its the headlights and lack of paint-flare which this body style obviously must have... Colors will make this car or break this car... Too bad gas prices are going to be 4.50/gallon before it hits the market... This car might be DOA if it can't get past that... Remember the Judge...GTO's death brought on by OIL/Gas problems.... |

So the grill on top of the dash in the center that looks like an AM radio speaker. Do you think this is the HUD emmitter? Or is it a speaker for On-Star? Or maybe the center channel for surround sound?

Good news! The production dies are being finished up and they're getting them ready for mass stamping! They're looking good and soon these cobbled up old iverbuild cars that were made from ancient IDR math will be a distant memory! It's so exciting to see how perfect they are getting the panel stampings now. The wavy old GMs of the past will be forgotten soon too!
