Hit a curb :(
My poor baby :(
Hit a curb last night leaving Angels Stadium. I wasn't paying attention, going maybe 12-14 mph, and hit the curb. It felt like I hit a car, the impact was enough to jar my neck (which is still sore). Even the guys behind me were like "Oh Sh****!" Other than the rim damage, the car still drives and runs smooth with no steering issues or weird noises. Is there anything else I should be concerned about? Alignment issues?

If the car does not pull to one side while driving or no vibrations I would say you are fine. But I would put it on an alignment rack and check the wheel balance just to be safe.

Outside of the sharp pain in your chest when you look at it you should probably be fine.
Don't feel to bad you not the only one who's done it.

Look on the bright side; this might give you a reason to upgrade your wheels.

Tecnically, it will.
Those wheels are a aluminum. Very soft. If you sand it carefully with a fine then ultra fine sand paper, it will look less bad. Not new as you will see an indentation but better than the road rash. It sands very easily. |
