I'm pretty certain they are not lighter. In order to do that no heater for cold days and motor for leg adjustment. They have the same components as the stock framed seats.

....standard on the Z/28,....I sat in them on a 2014 1LE and they were nice, micro fiber, nice wrap around effect.

If the head rest is not adjustable i am out,as i have to tuen my head rest backwards when i drive because my neck and spine are fused,so having the head rest lean too far forward like with my vert ZL1 vert pushes on my head causing pain !!! makes me really pissed

maybe they dont as hopfully they have room for a helmet so they wont push my head forward.. but they look great
