Making some minor changes, on the way to bigger and better!

I am getting ready for my next round of upgrades, and I am on the fence on a couple little things. I am currently running just a few things with great results. I have a Rotofab intake, Headers, catless, stock cat back, 1050X injectors, 160 thermostat, DSX Flex fuel system, 2.55 upper, 9.17 lower, and a good tune which I am currently running an E50 mix since I was starting to run out of fuel pump. I made 662/692 to the wheels, and I am making my next little step with a DSX Aux fuel kit, JLT 5" Intake, 9.55 lower pulley, and I am considering the difference/benefits of a 90mm or 102mm TB. I am going to do a cam on the next go round, funds are too tight to do it all at once. I can do the TB and possibly port the blower snout right now, then tune for the additional fuel capabilities.

Don't go to a 9.55" pulley without doing at least a cam, but preferably heads and ported blower. In fact, no one -technically- should go past the 2.5 + 9.1 combo. 2.5 and 9.5 is well past the supercharger RPM limit, even the 2.5/9.1 combo is a tad over it but only by a couple hundred. Now I know there are many people out there doing it but if you look at shops and people that do install it, they only do it after the car has a hairy cam and head work. There's not enough air flow on the stock engine for that amount of boost. Adding boost past 13 pounds on the stock cam is doing little but creating heat. Ted Jannetty can give you all the reasoning and specifics, however the short answer is stick with the 9.1" lower.

OK, I can hold that off til the cam. The guy at the meet this weekend was running a 2.5 and a 10". He had the cam and headwork though.
