What's the best interior protectant for cleaning wheels?

Okay, so Armour All Total Interior Protectant just doesn't seem to cut through the brake dust very well! Would Lexol or Meguiar's interior products be better?

Huh?

Sonax wheel cleaner will eat brake dust.

Wheels and interior are two completely different things. I use Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner on my wheels and Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner on my interior.

LOL, fine.

So, about 2 months ago, I went to have the muffler delete done. Well, I was doing it on impulse and the shop wanted me to leave my car for a few hours. I started calling everyone I know asking for a ride. Everyone was busy, and I ended up calling a coworker of mine and she was able to pick me up.

So, it turned out she was washing and cleaning her car (SUV). However, the windows were still pretty dirty so I told her when she drops me off at my place I'll clean her windows for her.

We get there, and I grab a bucket of water and some microfiber and start on the windows. She starts doing more cleaning, and starts on the wheels. I wasn't really paying attention, and after she got to the 3rd wheel I happen to glance over. Guess what she is using to clean her wheels? That's right, Armour All Interior Protectant

My jaw hit the floor, and I grabbed some wheel cleaner for her to use. The funny part though is that the armour all actually did a fairly decent job. Her attitude was hey, its for cars, so why not?

I finally explained to her that what she was doing was the equivalent of using concealer to style her hair

All I do is grab my two gallon bucket labeled, "wheels only" and use a cap of Zaino Z7 when I fill it. Never once have an issue with removing the grime from the wheels.

if you want one that does both give optimum Optibond tire gel a whirl, and I am being serious, have heard of people putting it in spray bottles and diluting it 50/50 and using it on wheel wells, engine dressing, and diluting it a little further and using it on the interior black plastic. stuff is durable and doesn't leave much of of an after film if any especially once diltuted. I know it lasts on my tires like nothing else I have used and it is water based which is a big plus.
