Need input on new Camaro, White or Black? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I received the call and confirmation e-mail that I am one of the 99 that were selected to order the Honor and Valor Camaro SS. I currently have a 2010 CGM 2SS and really like the CGM look but I have to choose between Victory Red, Summit White or Black?
I know I don't want the Victory Red, just not for me. I would like input good or bad on White versus Black. I have to have the order form faxed back to them via my dealer in 7 days, so I need to decide. I had initially settled on White, thinking I would just get CGM stripes painted later, but am considering the Black now also.
I want to see what you guys think and get input from owner of both, negative and positives you have noted.

Congratulations first of all. I love my VR but if did it again, I would definately get white. I just love the way it looks!! And there is so many cool ways to personalize it with different colors of stripes or just leave it white and black out all the lights.

Congrats!!!I say Black, but I'm biased as well. Any dark color is more work because it shows so much, but they look killer when they're all cleaned up.:flag2:

i have never been a fan of white cars, black is awesome no matter what car, i love the deep shine of black/dark color cars...i wish my TA was black!

IMO either color is hard to keep clean, so I would just say go with what you want...

I have a CGM also but I really like the white camaro alot ive had two other black cars and they are a pain to keep it clean. i think white is my second choice of color and is pure sexy

Nothing wrong with Summit White...

Victory Red wasn't my color either until I saw this one and then bought it...

Daily Driver = White

Garage King = Black

Ticket Magnet = Red (they get noticed)

Black looks better but dude I spent 1.25 hours detailing the front of the car after washing it the other day and by the time I got to the back the front was already dirty with dirt and pollen...

You need to be a true enthusiast to own black and keep it looking nice. Especially with the garbage clear coat on these cars, it needs a lot of care.
