well... I can kinda make out a GM number on the backer plate... somebody needs to twist your arm to disassemble and get the part number on the other half! :P

Now the next question is I wonder when we will be able to buy the adaptor piece?

Might have to give it a shot

You would think it would be available since so many Heritage Grills are out there now. The bowtie looks exactly the same. I'll have to check that too as I still have the original grill from my first car.

I am sure that is just an adapter to use the stock bowtie on the heritage grill, it probably just snaps into it just like it does on the standard grill...
I think if mine ever gets loose I may buy a factory mount, But for now I will just keep mine the way it is...

I am so happy to see people painting the IP stripes on, when they were removed as replica package content. I was very unhappy to say the least. They were my favorite part of the package, and were approved all the way up to the very end.

Way to take matters into your own hands!

Agree for sure. The dash stripes were my number one interior accent. Seems like such a small thing to keep for such big impact, but I'm sure there were factors I'm unaware of. I didn't want to even show the car until I got them on. It's the first thing people notice inside.

Also getting rid of that pesky TM too...

Thanks for your input to this car... you all really knocked it out of the park with the quality of the stripes and the fact they wrap over all the edges.

Thanks again!...

Congratulations on the purchase... Although the stripes are not my cup of tea, I am sure it's rarity will make it very desirable...

BTW if you want to keep it's value up just use Vinyl for the interior stripes and keep the mods to only things you can return to stock. If these go like the old pace car Camaros have you best keep them as close to stock as possible...

I did the interior stripes exactly like the real pace car. They are painted on. That piece is just like any other IOM interior part and can be easily replaced, but I think it will be one thing that remains.

I will always have the stock parts... but do plan to have some fun w/ a couple mods...
