I just love the look of my silver and black 5th gen. Don't care if it isn't as fast as the 6th gen. Just makes me happy. Love the overall look. Sadly, I live in Washington state. My bitchen Camaro is in the stupid garage. Stupid winter weather means that I have to drive my stupid taurus to stupid work every stupid day until late February or stupid early March. Winter is...stupid.

Gen 6 has better motor and interior, but Gen5 has better exterior looks hands down and still reminds me of a true muscle car. Gen6 starts to blur the lines.

This is so true. 6th gen guys just don't see it. I find it funny how they don't like the 19 refresh but think the 16 to 18 is fine. The 19 refresh has taken it to another low.

You absolutely right about GenV recognizability. I came up behind a Gen6 the other night and thought, "is that a Camaro?" If it were a GenV, there would have been no question. Just a lot harder to spot them vs a GenV.
ZL1 bars and FE4 LCAs cost me just north of $300 from GM, so mods don't have to cost a fortune unless you go past 650HP. Younger generation loves GenVs too. My high school princess wanted nothing to do with a 6th gen (not that I would have actually bought her one), and lucky for her I got a sweet deal on a GenV convertible SS, but she does not even like to bring her "guy friends" by the garage because she is no longer the center of attention.

The 6th gen is losing to a 13 year old Dodge with Pep Boys style fender flares. GM sees no problem. Camaro will be dead again in the not so distant future.

I've owned both and would say the 5th gen is overall better.

It really depends on the direction of future Corvettes. If they all go ME, then Camaro won't have to worry about stepping on its toes.

Ya and I also saw over on the 6th site someone said the 14-15 is the sweet spot on styling. That made me laugh but hey i agree being a 14 owner.
