Had the same issue - wound up cutting slots in mine to clear the BC-ER Coil Over's remote canister hose. Did not do all of the bracing as I felt it would not compromise the structural integrity enough to bend the piece under all but racing conditions, and prob not even then. Going on more than 3 years now and all seems fine. BMR boy's should include a note in their purchase brochure or Web Sites where these are sold, and/or in the installation instructions that they will not clear remote canister hoses on certain C/O's to avoid such a interference issue.
