You're gonna catch hell trying to put aftermarket audio/video in, seeing as a lot of the DIC commands can use the stereo. I had considered navi until i saw all the cool things the stereo does. I'm gonna miss having a navi but i'll get over it.

Are there any GPS units that have bluetooth? In the training videos, it shows "GPS Unit" under the bluetooth connect options on the stereo.
Not quite sure how that would work... |

Got my two

Picked up a Tom Tom for the gal before I got her the Acadia to drive (that has Nav). It's completely worthless. Has a difficult time finding signal..ANYWHERE. I've driven from mid NH to Mass and had it never find a signal. Doesn't matter what car it's been in. If it does find signal...I've had it tell me that I'm in the middle of the Atlantic ocean for the whole drive. I tried software upgrades etc and nothing works. If you really need it, that is when it's sure to not work.
Simply the most wasted money I've ever spent on any device. I'd have done better buying an infomercial gadget. On the same note, I had directions and connections package on the wife's Aura...also worthless especially in a place like Boston. One wrong turn and you are screwed because it takes so long to reload that you are 3 miles away before you can get new directions back to where you were supposed to be. You don't have a map to SEE what you are supposed to do at complex intersections and the wife refused to use after getting more lost WITH it than she ever has without it so I canceled it. Yeah please tell me something that works up in the Northeast RELIABLY. |

I bought a 4.3" Navigon refurb with lifetime FREE traffic updates. Sweet unit - I found everything in Chicago last weekend, and knew where the traffic construction and tie-ups were.

I have a Nuvi 350, and one of the few differences between 350 and 360 is the bluetooth. I'm curious what connecting the Bluetooth of the car to the Garmin is for though... |

Yeah I noticed that bluetooth gps option under the config menu and I was wondering the same thing. An aftermarket gps unit that you can throw in the glove box or armrest, pairs automatically through bluetooth, shows you directions through DIC and turns through the stereo would be the ideal companion for when you dont feel like calling onstar or want to control the exact route you want to take to the place and are using the navi just to remind you where your turns are. Anyone out there already tried pairing a gps with their Camaro? Did u get voice over the stereo? Did you get turn directions through the DIC?
