Some questions about the drivetrain

Ok guys so I've had my camaro for a few months now and this drivetrain clunk is really bothering me. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to help quiet it down or get rid of it all together. Does a poly transmission mount help with it? what about poly driveshaft couplings? Does a one piece driveshaft quiet it down any? Thanks for any input.

i would guess majority of the "clunk - clunk " noise at low speeds is from the driveshaft

i have no idea how much "1-peice DS" help but i read it'll really queiten the noise down

also someone told me about a bushings in the noise

here

good luck, i would keep the car stock and adjust my driving behaviour accordingly my car is now almost silent after getting used to it
it's v8 6speed m/t

You will feel and hear more with the one piece driveshaft.

You could be hearing the wind up the stock 2 piece has with the rubber at each end and the center bearing.Loading and unloading.A 1 pc would eliminate that slop and be a smoother and quiter. If we can help you out let me know.

you should take the time to check to see where the clunk is coming from. putting poly mounts will only make it worse.

Could be the diff as well. When installing our 9" kits we've taken out some really worn OEM diff's that were clunking. Didn't even have that many miles on them either.

It sounds like the driveshaft just shakes back and forth. It usually happens if the rpms aren't matched good, or if I push the clutch in and there is pressure on the tires like if I Park on a incline. I hear it when I go over certain speed bumps at a slow speed.
