Angry $%^& Out of No where my car shakes!!! WTH???

For the pasted two day's my car is doing a odd shaking. After driving 15 min or so it shakes on low RPM's. It only does it when i go 35-45 mph let go of the gas and just start cruising at 1300-1400 RPM's... The shaking has gotten worst. Took it to the dealer today with a tech and the shaking was a lot more noticeable today. They have no idea what it can be. I have a 2012 LS. This one of so many problems my 2 camaros has had. Is it because i have a LS? should i upgrade to a LT. Or is it that camaros are no meant to be a DD? Please any feed back from anybody.....

...someone snuck in your garage and installed an aggressive Cam?!

Seriously though... no, stock Camaros do not shake. It could have been anything though... something as simple as suspension or alignment ... issues with one wheel. Or it could be more serious such as powertrain, but if you are under warranty you will be fine and won't have to pay a dime. Might be without a car for a couple days though.

I'd check you alignment. My Camaro is a DD, so that's not the problem.

I don't know if this is the same issue, but I experienced something similar last night, except mines a 2013 2LT RS. Have almost 1500 miles on the car, felt nothing until last night. Thing started shaking really loud at around 50-65 MPH, kinda scared me. It was fine until about 2/3rds of my drive home, then the shaking started. So pulled off at the next exit, and when I slowed down the shaking stopped completely and I was able to accelerate again up to normal speed without a problem. Made the same drive back to work this morning, and I took her through her paces, all the way up to 80mph, and felt nothing. The shaking seems to be gone now. Not sure what it could have been.

I would have thought that if the wheels were unbalanced or the alignment was off it would have come back pretty quick (not a mechanic so I guess I don't know that), we'll see on the drive home. I looked for leftover double sided tape to see if I lost a weight, and didn't seem to find anything (doesn't mean i didn't lose a weight).

I just bought a 2012 camaro 1lt at a key dealership in jacksonvill Flordia, it past their inspection aND was certafied preowned. At first it drove amazing but now I am getting a shaking coming from the back of the car when lightly accelerate between 40 and 50. I plan on taking it back to them Saturday so they can take a look at it. This was my first time ever buying a car and I'm a little upset that it only has 20k miles on it and I am having problems 5 days after I bought it. I love the car but I don't know what's wrong with it. What did they have to do to fix yours and was it covered under warranty ?

Bud look at the date on this thread, it's very old. And that user hasn't been on in years, so I doubt they come back to answer. You may be better off starting a new thread with this question.

If you just bought it, and it was a CPO, you should have some kind of warranty. I would take it back to them and have them check it out. Could be somethign as simple as a tire out of balance
