Hey from the Motor City...
Had 2 daughter's and did the family car thing the last 20 years. The youngest just graduated college and dad was finally able to go back and buy a toy. Bought a 2012 Camaro 2SS/RS with 9400 miles on it in Nov. 2017. Drove it for 400 miles over the course of 8 months. Was a really nice car but not what 20 years of anticipation of snapping my head back in the seat felt like in my mind...
Sold that and bought a 2017 ZL1 A10. Live in Michigan and a 85 year old guy that is beyond rich bought it. He had the dealership deliver it to his house which was 60 miles away. He took it for 1 drive for 13 miles and pulled in the garage and told his 61 year old son it was too much car for him and it sat in the garage for 10 months, getting started every few weeks. Had 73 miles on it. I drove down to Arkansas, rented a Uhaul trailer and towed it home. Sticker was 69k, paid 55k. Even though I'm doing the "break in" period on it, it already is the car i have had the most fun in EVER. The A10 is awesome. The black is hard to keep clean but it is by far the best looking one when cleaned up. Lost track of how many people drove past me on the highway towing it from Arkansas to Michigan honking, giving a thumbs up. This car is one bad B****!!! Glad to join everyone in the forum and everyone help each other keep the Camaro at the top where it should be! Last edited by Zl150TH; 08-05-2018 at 09:34 AM. |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
