edit: durr. If you go with T-Mobile I'd say the Nokia 5300. AT&T the Sony Ericsson W580i. Nextel i880. VZW go with the Chocolate 2 (the new one). Sprint I'd say Katana or wait for one of the QChat devices, all of which look awesome. |

Sprint 7yrs not the greatest customer service but not bad overall. Plus I get a 10% military discount.

Well my mother suprised me with a new phone today that she got for her renewal of her AT&T Family plan (I'm not going to turn down someone else paying my bills) and it's a Samsung SGH-a734. It's not the greatest of phones as the sound is kinda low even at full volume, but otherwise it's a nice phone so far.

Well since you're our resident expert, I have a question about new phones that are being offered by Verizon? What should I get, I would kind of like something to replace my ipod so i can just carry one device around. And maybe, if i feel like spending a lot a touch screen would be kind of cool too!

In Canada there is Bell, Rogers, Telus & Fido...I am with Fido and have been with them for the last 11 years, my plan consists of $40.00/400 min per month with $5.00/International Long Distance where I save 50% off compared to a land line rate & 2500 free text messages per month.

Quest but they are like the sprint nextell thing with sprint. I like it because my parents have every thing bundled with quest so I get a big discount. and by everything I mean my moms cell, land line, long distance, direct tv, and internet. and we get a huge savings on all of them.

Sprint/AT&T
I got two of the best. 12 yrs with Sprint (my favorite of the two) just 2 yrs with AT&T. (its free because of work) I have more dropped calls with AT&T (and it doesnt work in my town) but I can text with that phone so I use it more. Since it doesn't cost anything, I can use their minutes for free and stay within mine on Sprint without going over. I have Verizon with Onstar but it doesn't work very often.:( |
