Sweet. Thanks! Love how it darkened it a bit but still left a very smooth even finish.

I had literally just finished ordering a matte cleaner from Adams but if I'm not satisfied with that then I'll be giving this a shot for sure.

It takes a few passes to get an even finished look. A little elbow grease goes a long way. I was gonna re wrap it but no need now

When it comes to removing hard water spots on your hood, what is the best product & easiest way to do so? I had my car for not even a day & already had water spots on the hood & I have been searching for a way to remove them ever since.
On my 14 1LE i used a mixture i made up of vinegar ,isopropyl alcohol and distilled water in a spray bottle , worked great . On my 18 1LE i haven't had as much spotting, i lather the soap up really good on the hood .I have started using a waterblade to dry instead of a towel , any silicone squeegee should work and Adams Matte Detailer then wipe down and it comes out really nice .

Have the same horrible spots on my hood.. went to Chevy for by auto butler application and they found out there’s a product recommended by gm for getting the water spots out. Waiting for them to get the product in. Soon as I find out the name I’ll post it here for future inquiries

these spots are such assholes
even when you think they are gone, wipe them down with a wet cloth and you'll see their outlines again
I will keep putting a vinegar paper towel on the spots with every wash until they are truly gone
now i spray the car with detailer while its still wet

Had exact same problem recently. Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte fixed it. It is the ONLY thing you should ever use on your hood wrap. Best, Peter

I tried a little bit of everything. I will have to use the vinegar trick the next time I have issues. I did finally come across something that hid/removed them and has prevented them from coming back. IBIZ everything car wax. I've had the pleasure of driving through some rain storms and nothing has spotted it up since I applied it over a month ago. I am so far impressed.

Get the Adam's Polishes Matte Finish detailer spray. It will remove the spots and is designed for matte finish wraps.

This! I use this and it works awesome. I also use the matte protectant which does an even better job. Goes on pretty thick like gel. Looks horrible and streaky until you buff it by hand per the instructions. Then, it looks brand new.

I looked for the Adam's Matte Protectant on their site but I was only able to find the detailer which I got. Where can I get it?

AFAIK, there’s only one Adams product that will work - Matte Detailer - and the company even mentions the 1LE as an example of where to use it. It does the job.
