You Can't Out Wit the GM Engineers that built this engine.

Driveability and fuel mileage degrades with TR-6 plugs I see it Regularly.

I have a Trash can full of TR-6 Plugs
I decided to change my TR-6's out for the upcoming race season as they have about 14,000 mileson them. I also decided to try out a set of the 41-104's so I bought a set. I was very suprised to see the differences between the two plugs. The ZR1 plug tip appears to extend about an eighth of an inch deeper into the cylinder and the tapered seats of the plugs are very different. I think the TR-6s look pretty good after 14,000 miles.

Yep, a Plug Engineered for your LS engine.

When you pull the ZR1 Plugs out after 14000 miles they will look like they do now

You have a little bit of Oil contamination are you running a catch can?

Ted.

If I pull one to look at, it sure isn't going to be #6 or #8...PITA. Yes I do run a catch can but I did so some experimenting without one along with a stock oil cap, metco and RX breathers. My intake behind the throttle body is presently drier than a popcorn f@rt . I'll probably run the 104's until spring and then take a look at a few.
